Cookie policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This is a courtesy translation provided for convenience. Only the French version is legally binding — in the event of any discrepancy, the French text prevails.

1. In short

Shadow Raise deliberately keeps trackers to a strict minimum. No audience-measurement or advertising cookie is placed without your consent.

The site works fully even if you refuse everything.

2. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Local storage (localStorage) is a related technology: information kept by your browser, on your device only, without being automatically transmitted to our servers.

3. Functional storage (exempt from consent)

These items are strictly necessary for the operation of the site and do not require consent:

4. Audience measurement (subject to your consent)

If you accept audience measurement via the banner, the following cookies may be placed by Google Analytics 4:

Purpose: traffic and usage statistics (page views, journeys, performance) to improve the platform. IP addresses are anonymised.

This data may be processed by Google, including outside the European Union; such transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses. Learn more: Google's cookie policy.

If audience measurement is not active on the site, none of these cookies are placed — even if you accept.

5. Advertising (subject to your consent)

Two advertising tools may place cookies, and only after you accept.

Google Ads:

Purpose: assessing the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and, where applicable, showing you relevant ads across Google partner services.

We apply Google's consent mode: until you accept, these cookies are blocked and Google receives only anonymous signals, with no identifier written to your device.

If no Google Ads campaign is running, none of these cookies are placed — even if you accept.

Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram):

Purpose: measuring sign-ups generated by our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and building advertising audiences.

Unlike Google's tags, the Meta pixel has no throttled mode: it is therefore not loaded at all until you accept. Before you accept, no request is sent to Meta.

These data may be processed by Meta, including outside the European Union; such transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR. Learn more: Meta's cookie policy.

6. Managing your choice

On your first visit (whenever consent-based trackers are active), a banner lets you accept or refuse — both options are equivalent, and your choice is kept for 6 months.

Refusing audience-measurement and advertising cookies does not degrade your experience in any way.

7. Contact and updates

This policy may be updated, in particular if the tools we use change. The applicable version is the one published on this page.

For any question relating to personal data, see the Privacy policy.
